U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa Commanding General Maj. Gen. Todd R. Wasmund presents Sgt. 1st Class Alexsandria Pavlenko, Dental Health Activity Italy, a coin as part of the Commander's Ready and Resilient Council Warrior Recognition ceremony on Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, August 3, 2022. Pavlenko voluntarily took on the work of three different positions, in addition to her own workload, during a three month staff shortage in her unit. During the time she spent countless hours making sure the command was covered, Soldiers' needs were being met and constantly putting her team's needs before her own in order to improve their readiness, promotion status, and Soldiering skills. In addition, as a Master Marksmanship Trainer, Pavlenko has proactively reached out to other units in the community to provide marksmanship training.
