U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa Commanding General Maj. Gen. Todd R. Wasmund presents Pfc. Haiden T. Blomendale, 173rd Brigade Support Battalion (Airborne), 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), a coin as part of the Commander's Ready and Resilient Council Warrior Recognition ceremony on Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, August 3, 2022. Blomendale was recognized for her efforts to reduce sexual harassment and build resiliency amongst the paratroopers of the 173rd Airborne Brigade by planning, resourcing and executing their first quarterly Team Repel Workshop. After the completion of the first two-day workshop, Blomendale conducted an after action review and revised the curriculum to ensure key end-states were met in the next iteration. Her forward thinking embodies all of the best attributes of the Warrior Ethos and Army Values.
