The training exercise showcased the Avengers' shoot-on-the-move capability through live air engagement training. The battle management system operators achieved a common air picture with their Lithuanian Allies for the first time. This achievement enhances the interoperability between NATO units.
RALY 22 is a Bi-annual, live-fly, integrated air & missile defense exercise that integrates Allied air and SBAMD units under NATO command & control in a complex, comprehensive LIVE environment across Europe. This exercise will enhance multi-domain interoperability and unit readiness. Consequently, NATO Allies will be better able to safeguard and protect Alliance territory, populations and forces from air and missile threat or attack.
