PACIFIC OCEAN (May 12, 2022) – A group of international officers leads the Pacific Partnership 2022 (PP22) team aboard Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) , including, from left, Capt. Timothy Quast, commanding officer of Mercy; Capt. Kimberly Toone, the ship's executive officer; Capt. Charles Maynard of the Royal Navy who serves as the PP22 deputy mission commander; and Capt. Hank Kim, PP22 mission commander. Now in its 17th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific.
