PACIFIC OCEAN (April. 16, 2022) – Sailors assigned aboard Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Montgomery (LCS 8) conduct a hangar bay fire drill during routine underway operations in the Eastern Pacific. LCS is a fast, agile, mission-focused platform designed to operate in near-shore environments, winning against 21st-century coastal threats.
