CAPT Walter Dalitsch III, Naval Medical Research Unit- Dayton Commanding Officer, models Naval Aviation Greens, adapted from the Marine Corps Forestry Greens in 1917. Although they were still popular amongst many in the Naval Aviation community, they were ultimately retired in December 2010, which coincidentally, was the eve of the Centennial of Naval Aviation in 2011.
