Stryker vehicles move smoothly and quietly through the streets of Mosul, Iraq. This city in northern Iraq was the first to experience the quiet security presence that the Stryker vehicle offers. The eight-wheeled, 350-horsepower, diesel engine, Stryker vehicle is the Army?s newest tactical fighting vehicle, fielded for the first time by the 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) during Operation Iraqi Freedom II.
