Brig. Gen. Darwin Craig, director of joint staff, Utah National Guard, and Jared Wandell, emergency management officer, Utah National Guard, spoke with Staff Sgt. Christopher Herrera, a member of the COVID-19 Joint Task Force, at Southgate Senior Living about his experience serving in senior care facilities in St. George, Utah, on March 2, 2022. In light of recent healthcare staff shortages, Craig was met with gratitude and glowing remarks from board members and staff regarding the support from Utah National Guard members of the COVID-19 Joint Task Force as he visited health care facilities in and around St. George.
