Brig. Gen. Darwin Craig, director of joint staff, Utah National Guard, and Jared Wandell, emergency management officer, Utah National Guard, met with St. George Regional Hospital board members in St. George, Utah, on March 1, 2022, to discuss how Utah National Guard members of the COVID-19 Joint Task Force have been filling critical needs. In light of recent healthcare staff shortages, Craig was met with gratitude and glowing remarks from board members and staff regarding the support from Utah National Guard members of the COVID-19 Joint Task Force as he visited health care facilities in and around St. George.
