Military personnel, primarily in navy blue coveralls with some in Marine Corps camouflage uniforms, are conducting a cargo transfer operation aboard what appears to be a naval vessel. They are forming a human chain to move large white boxes, likely food or supply containers, from a pallet staging area. The operation is taking place in what appears to be a ship's hangar bay or cargo deck.

ATLANTIC OCEAN – Sailors and Marines assigned to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), move supplies from a vertical replenishment-at-sea (VERTREP) aboard the Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44), Jan. 26, 2022. The Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are underway conducting a Composite Training Unit (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is the final pre-deployment exercise that certifies the Kearsarge ARG and 22nd MEU’s ability to conduct military operations through joint planning, and execute challenging and realistic scenarios.
