U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Thomas McDaniel, a native of Canton, Miss., and light armored reconnaissance unit leader with 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division, gives a class on camouflage as part of Littoral Exercise I (LEX I) in Parris Island, South Carolina, Jan. 26, 2022. During LEX I, Marines and Sailors are experimenting with new concepts and forces to prepare for future scenarios in littoral environments along the East Coast.
