Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Amanda Dawson, from Barbados, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) supply department, uses a sound-powered phone to establish communications during a Phase III crew certification evaluation, Jan. 26, 2022. Phase III Crew Certification focuses on how the ship’s training teams accomplish necessary crew training needed to return the ship to sea.
