U.S. Marines assigned to the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 and Marine Wing Support Squadron 172 in Okinawa, Japan, refuel a UH-1Y Venom during a tactical hot refueling operation at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Dec. 15, 2021. A hot fueling, designed to increase lethality and readiness, is defined as refueling of the helicopter with the main engine running.
