PORT OF DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (Dec. 3, 2021) – U.S. Navy Cmdr. Johnath Stinnette, from Newport News, Va., and Retail Specialist Seaman Kameron Hudson, from Baltimore, Md., assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Portland (LPD 27), monitor shipboard operations on the flight deck at the Port of Djibouti. Portland is moored in the Port of Djibouti for a sustainment and logistics visit supported by Camp Lemonnier’s supply department. Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing support to ships, aircraft and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
