An Iraqi Terminal Attack Controller (ITAC) gives a class in preparation for Exercise Phoenix Fires, a live fire exercise held at Mosul Dam, Iraq, on October 27, 2021. The purpose of the class was to teach proper fundamentals for targeting, locating, and communicating with partnered Coalition Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC) and ITACs to enhance Iraqi forces’ ability to engage in close air support.
