U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Troy Harzula, an airborne and air delivery specialist with Alpha Company, 3d Landing Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3d Marine Logistics Group, runs the maneuver under fire portion of a combat fitness test during the Lander Trials on Camp Foster, Oct. 4, 2021. 3d LSB conducts the Lander Trials, a series of physically demanding workouts and group activities in order to test the battalion’s combat readiness and to promote camaraderie. 3d MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward-deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
