Maj. Aprill Bright, 1st Infantry Division (1ID) Forward’s chaplain, asks questions to a panel of Polish and U.S. soldiers during a women’s cultural exchange event in Poznan, Poland, Sept. 14, 2021. The discussion sessions allowed the women of both countries to build professional relationships and gain a better understanding of each others’ military experiences. Members of 1ID are deployed to Poland in support of Atlantic Resolve, a rotational forward presence throughout Europe that strengthens interoperability and allows allies and partners to be prepared to stand side-by-side to maintain, overmatch and increase lethality against adversaries.
