Polish and U.S. Army women participate in a cultural exchange discussion panel in Poznan, Poland, Sept. 14, 2021. The question and answer sessions, facilitated by Maj. Aprill Bright, 1st Infantry Division (1ID) Forward’s chaplain, allowed both countries to see the similarities and differences as women in different militaries. Members of 1ID are deployed to Poland in support of Atlantic Resolve, a rotational forward presence throughout Europe that strengthens interoperability and allows allies and partners to be prepared to stand side-by-side to maintain, overmatch and increase lethality against adversaries.
