Master Sgt. Jeffery L. Carter finishes first in the 187th Fighter Wing's Red Tails Remember ruck march at Dannelly Field, Ala. on Sept. 10, 2021. With a pace of 14.17, Carter completed the 3 miles with a time of 42 minutes and 20 seconds. The 3 mile ruck march is in remembrance of the 2,977 lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Marchers carry a 20 pound rucksack to represent the 20 year anniversary.
