PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug.17, 2021) Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Kaylee Olson, from Tracy, Calif., assigned to the Wildcards of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23, removes the tail rotor boot from an MH-60S Sea Hawk for flight quarters on the flight deck aboard the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson (LCS 6). The Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) is a fast, agile, mission-focused platform designed to operate in near-shore environments, winning against 21st-century coastal threats. Jackson is conducting routine operations in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Kelsey S. Culbertson/Released)
