U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Darryll G Rideout Jr., South Portland, Maine native, and Platoon Sergeant with 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, conducts a uniform inspection during the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Best Warrior Competition at U.S. Army Garrison Hohenfels Training Area, Germany, Aug. 7. The Soldiers conduct a uniform inspection to assess how well competitors maintain the standards outlined in Army Regulation 670-1 “Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms and Insignia.” Competitions help sharpen our Soldiers’ skills and add value to training joint U.S. forces that enable Europe and Africa Commands to execute all missions.
