Five military personnel and one civilian are gathered around a desk in what appears to be a command operations center or briefing room. Three U.S. Army soldiers in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) uniforms stand behind two seated individuals reviewing documents and laptop computers. All individuals are wearing face masks, suggesting this was taken during the COVID-19 pandemic period.

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. (Aug. 5, 2021) A Joint Task Force Civil Support (JTF-CS) operational planning team determines task organization for units assigned to notional hurricane response operations in a simulated joint operational area during exercise Vibrant Response 21.2. The exercise enables JTF-CS to strengthen unique capabilities, including an ability to deploy on short notice into austere environments, which are not readily available in other federal agencies or in the private sector, allowing them to position the right people and resources for life-saving and life-sustaining actions during all-hazards defense support of civil authorities operations.
