Michael Flaherty, new 37th IBCT commander, during a change of command ceremony June 25, 2021, at Fort Polk, La. Flaherty succeeded Col. Matthew Woodruff during the ceremony, held near the end of a monthlong training rotation for the 37th IBCT at Fort Polk’s Joint Readiness Training Center, which trains BCTs to conduct large-scale combat operations on the battlefield.
