Brig. Gen. Thomas E. Moore II (left), Ohio assistant adjutant general for Army, passes the distinguishing flag of the 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team to Col. Michael Flaherty, new 37th IBCT commander, during a change of command ceremony June 25, 2021, at Fort Polk, La. Flaherty succeeded Col. Matthew Woodruff during the ceremony, held near the end of a monthlong training rotation for the 37th IBCT at Fort Polk’s Joint Readiness Training Center, which trains BCTs to conduct large-scale combat operations on the battlefield.
