A foreign national food service specialist helps prepare the weekly "Surf n Turf" lunch of steak and seafood during an Phillip A. Connelly Award inspection at the Camp As Sayliyah dining facility in Qatar, on Dec. 6. Area Support Group Qatar has a large installation populace; to include U.S. Central Command's Rest and Recuperation Pass Program participants, service members in Qatar for a brief respite from operations in the USCENTCOM area of responsibility. This is the first time an Army dining facility in Southwest Asia became a Department of the Army finalist for excellence in food preparation and service.
