Sgt. Neal Barnard and Sgt. Lance Mills, 996th Area Support Medical Company, Task Force Badge, Arizona Army National Guard, assist a flight crew with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Air Support Division conduct the preflight checks in north Phoenix on June 6.
These preflight checks are done as each new crew begins its shift to ensure the aircraft is in optimal condition to help each crew conduct air-rescue missions anywhere in the over 9,000 square miles of Maricopa County.
