Pilot and Systems Officer Rich Dickner, Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Air Support Division, scans the terrain as the MCSO helicopter flies to the site of a rescue training exercise in north Phoenix on June 6.
This training exercise was conducted by a crew created as a result of the activation of the Arizona National Guard by Gov. Doug Ducey to assist counties throughout the state. The Guardsmen were the injured hikers for this exercise.
