Four U.S. Marines are working in a military aircraft hangar, performing maintenance or inspection on helicopter rotor head components mounted on a yellow tripod stand. The word 'MARINES' is clearly visible on the dark-painted aircraft in the background, which appears to be a military helicopter undergoing maintenance. The personnel are wearing a mix of tan flight suits and olive green t-shirts, consistent with Marine Corps working uniforms.

Marines with Marine Transport Squadron 1 remove tie-bars from the rotor head of an HH-46E helicopter in their hangar during scheduled phase maintenance repairs Sept. 13. "During this phase we identified parts and equipment that are due to expire in the near future," said Sgt. Fernando Hernandez Jr., the HH-46E phase crew coordinator at VMR-1. “We are going to knock this out now and save some time."
