U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Francis Donovan, the commanding general of 2d Marine Division, engages with Marines with 2d Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment (2/6), aboard amphibious helicopter carrier Dixmude, May 31, 2021. Donovan visited 2/6 in France during Exercise Skrenvil, a bilateral amphibious event designed to bolster collaboration with allied nations and to maintain global security in key maritime terrain.
