Meet British Lt. Jake Cornish, a movement control officer assigned to the 29 Regiment, Royal Logistics Corps. Cornish completed his initial and job training just three months ago. Today he is using all the skills he has learned to help move more than 300 pieces of military vehicles and equipment from the ports in Zadar, Croatia to training areas across the region in support of DEFENDER-Europe 21. “We are taking equipment we offloaded from the U.S. Naval Ship Yuma and Hurst Point to training areas in Croatia and Bosnia,” Cornish said. “It’s been an experience. There are a lot of moving parts, but it has been great so far.” (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Alexandra Shea)
