Close-up photograph of a commercial aircraft cockpit center pedestal, prominently featuring the throttle quadrant with multiple thrust levers and a flap lever. The background displays multiple Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) screens showing green instrument readouts, along with analog gauges and various control panels. A stack of papers (likely flight documents or charts) is visible on the right side of the pedestal.

Flight controls for a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III operations are picture during a C-17 hot refueling training and certification mission at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, April 9, 2021. The 816th EAS Airmen performed multiple iterations of a process where the Aerial Bulk Fuel Delivery System was drained into an R-11 fuel truck, then the engines were left running for hot refueling from the truck to the aircraft, as well as a defueling process from the plane back to the fuel truck. This operational capability enables the Air Force Air Mobility Command to support joint service partners in Agile Combat Employment. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt. Brigette Waltermire)
