210407-M-JX780-1635 BAY OF BENGAL (April 7, 2021) – Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ship, JS Akebono (DD 108), top, Indian Navy Shivalik-class frigate INS Satpura (F48), middle, and French Navy La Fayette-class frigate, FS Surcouf (F711), maneuver in formation through the Bay of Bengal during La Perouse 2021. La Perouse is an exercise during the annual French Navy midshipman deployment called Mission Jeanne d'Arc.
