Capt. Jason Vivian, MEDEX 12 Camp commandant, 35th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, walks into the aid station during MEDEX 12 at Sagami Depot, Sagamihara, Japan. The 35th CSSB provided service and support to units who were on hand to train for MEDEX 12. MEDEX 12 is a United States Army Pacific multi-component, joint service, bi-lateral exercise that demonstrates the United States lasting commitment and partnership to Japan by showcasing USARPAC’s mass casualty capabilities during a simulated major event that presented a serious medical crisis.
