Pfc. Anthony Hollinshed, Nutrition specialist, 325th Combat Support Hospital, serves dinner to Command Sgt. Maj. Shelton Williamson, 10th Regional Support Group, as Command Sgt. Maj. Ron Joshua, 35th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, looks on. Joshua’s unit provided more than 5,000 meals to more than 200 soldiers and airmen participating in MEDEX 12 at Sagami Depot, Sagamihara, Japan. MEDEX 12 is a United States Army Pacific multi-component, joint service, bi-lateral exercise that demonstrates the United States lasting commitment and partnership to Japan by showcasing USARPAC’s mass casualty capabilities during a simulated major event that presented a serious medical crisis. The 325th, based out of Independence, Mo., established an 84 bed hospital during the exercise to showcase its ability to provide medical treatment to mass casualties.
