Soldiers from the 877th Engineer Company, out of Augusta, Ga., assist a civilian role-player to a decontamination point during a crisis-response scenario, Aug. 30, on Fort Bragg, N.C. The exercise that was taking place was part of North Carolina's Vigilant Guard, a statewide training exercise that tested the National Guard as the first military responder in support of the governor and the state emergency management agency.
