MAYPORT, Fla. (March 3, 2021) - Delicia Morris, an optometrist at Naval Branch Health Clinic Mayport, uses a slit lamp to examine a patient’s cornea. Morris, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, earned her doctor of optometry degree from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She says, “I joined the Navy Medicine team to help our people in uniform. Good vision is mission essential.” World Optometry Day is March 23. Optometrists provide primary vision care, ranging from sight testing and correction to the diagnosis, treatment and management of vision changes.
