KFOR conducts training during ABL patrol

Spc. Brennan Callahan, a cavalry scout with 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry Regiment, Iowa Army National Guard, assigned to Regional Command-East, Kosovo Force, instructs a class on finding a slope during a patrol along the administrative boundary line Feb. 12, 2021. The slope was determined to be roughly 17 degrees in elevation. Any slope greater than seven degrees is considered an obstacle. Routine ABL patrols support the KFOR mission to maintain a safe and secure environment for all people in Kosovo. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. Zachary M. Zippe)
