Four A-10 Thunderbolt IIs, assigned to the 163rd Fighter Squadron, Indiana Air National Guard, Fort Wayne Indiana, taxi to the runway ahead of a B-1B Lancer prior to a Red Flag 21-1 mission at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Feb. 1, 2021. The A-10 offers excellent maneuverability at low air speeds and altitude, while maintaining a highly accurate weapons-delivery platform and can provide additional support for air and ground crews.
