Command Sgt. Maj. James R. Holmes, III, the outgoing command sergeant major of the 405th Army Field Support Brigade, received the Legion of Merit for his 30-month assignment at the 405th AFSB. Col. Brad Bane, the commander of the 405th AFSB, presented the award. No one is more professional than Sergeant Major Holmes. Great, great job, Bane said.
