APRA HARBOR, Guam (Nov. 24, 2020) Sailors and a fleet support representative deployed with the Expeditionary Mine Countermeasures (ExMCM) Company of Task Force 75 recover a MK 18 Mod 2 unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) with Marines from 3d Reconnaissance Battalion and the maritime expeditionary security forces on the Mark VI patrol boat. The team integrated to conduct launch and recovery operations of the UUV for survey data of the Philippine Sea. Task Force 75 is U.S. 7th Fleet's primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of maritime security operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving, engineering and construction, and underwater construction throughout the Indo-Pacific.
