Brian Greer, an archaeologist with Directorate of Public Works, Environmental Division, Prevention and Compliance Branch, Cultural Resource Management, and children of Fort Stewart schools work to clean headstones Sept. 25 at Taylors Creek Cemetery on Fort Stewart in honor of National Public Lands Day. The children and volunteers helped clean up half of the nearly 450 headstones in the cemetery in July, and continued to perform maintenance on the rest when they returned this day.
