Children from Kessler, Murray and Diamond elementary schools clean headstones Sept. 25 at Taylors Creek Cemetery on Fort Stewart in honor of National Public Lands Day. The children helped clean up half of the nearly 450 headstones in the cemetery in July, as suggested by Col. Bryan Logan, Fort Stewart garrison commander, then continued to perform maintenance on the rest when they returned this day.
