Jacqueline Young, left, 673d Surgical Operations Squadron Women’s Health clinic flight chief, briefs military legislative staff on a Women’s Health reproductive survey, the first survey of its kind focused on identifying gaps in the reproductive health services provided to female service members, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 31, 2020. Military legislative staff visited JBER as part of an Alaska-wide tour of military installations for an overview of U.S. military entities in Alaska, focusing on their impacts and relevance to the Pacific theater. The staff were updated on current projects, future exercises and readiness, with an emphasis on forces assigned to Alaska and evolving Pacific Command and arctic issues.
