U.S. Air Force Col. Jason Delamater, second from right, 673d Mission Support Group commander, briefs military legislative staff on how more military families could be supported if the child and youth programs could be fully staffed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 31, 2020. Military legislative staff visited JBER as part of an Alaska-wide tour of military installations for an overview of U.S. military entities in Alaska, focusing on their impacts and relevance to the Pacific theater. The staff were updated on current projects, future exercises and readiness, with an emphasis on forces assigned to Alaska and evolving Pacific Command and arctic issues.
