Oregon Army National Guard Spc. Romero Vallejo pushes fill down to Pfc. Adrian Ortega with the 224th Engineer Company, 1249th Engineer Battalion at a local quarry that has donated 5,000 cubic yards of fill to build up the ground for the regional high school track improvement project in Maupin, Ore., Aug. 3, 2020. The company spent their 2020 annual training conducting an Innovated Readiness Training project in Maupin by raising an area to improve the regional high school’s track and field which will become part of the Maupin Deschutes River Athletic Complex.
