Oregon Army National Guard Soldiers of the 224th Engineer Company, 1249th Engineer Battalion work in close quarters with heavy equipment. These well-trained operators are confident and able to work in difficult situations to accomplish the mission to build up the ground for the regional high school track improvement project in Maupin, Ore., Aug. 3, 2020. The company spent their 2020 annual training conducting an Innovated Readiness Training project in Maupin by raising an area to improve the regional high school’s track and field which will become part of the Maupin Deschutes River Athletic Complex.
