Joint Base Langley-Eustis hosts the 1st Fighter Wing’s, 1st Munitions Squadron reactivation and assumption of command ceremony July 31, 2020. The 1st MUNS, which previously supported the 1st Tactical Fighter Wing’s first F-15s, was last inactivated in 1977 at Langley AFB, Virginia, its personnel were then absorbed into the 1st Maintenance Squadron.
