This is Lock 2 on the Cumberland River in Nashville, Tennessee, June 17, 1913. The lock, lower guide wall and lock houses are seen looking upstream. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District built Lock and Dam 2 at this location to establish a navigation channel. The structure was later replaced by today's modern dams. (USACE Photo)
