Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Ian Gabriel shouts orders to Sailors on a heaving line aboard the guided-missile frigate USS Vandegrift during a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo ship USNS Richard E. Byrd (T-AKE 4). During the evolution, Vandegrift took on more than 90,000 gallons of fuel and 35,000 pounds of food, mail, as well as parts and supplies.
