U.S. Army soldiers in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) uniforms are loading or positioning a corrugated metal component onto a flatcar railcar marked 'TPDX 190'. The soldiers are wearing high-visibility safety vests, helmets, and gloves, indicating a formal military logistics or rail-loading operation. The setting appears to be a rail yard during daylight hours under partly cloudy skies.

    28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade

U.S. Soldiers with the 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade place spanners between rail cars during rail upload operations at Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg. The spanners allow for vehicles to transition from one rail car to the next. This was done prior to loading vehicles on a train in preparation for the brigade's deployment to the Central Command area of responsibility. The vehicles, and other equipment, will be transported to the brigade's mobilization station and areas of operations overseas. This is the largest logistics operation for the 28th ECAB in over a decade. (U.S. Army photo by Capt. Sam DeBold)
