Missouri National Guard Lt. Col. Robert Jones, commander of Task Force Tropic, addresses the soldiers and sailors of Task Force Tropic before he and Sgt. Maj. Scott Mayer, of Lee’s Summit, presented the task force members with commanders coins and certificates of appreciation in Naco Honduras, June 29. Task Force Tropic was established in Honduras for U.S. Army South’s Beyond the Horizon-Honduras exercise, which combines military skills training with humanitarian aid missions.
